I’ve never heard of this diet before. What are you allowed to eat? (I mean carbs are everywhere … how do you manage to avoid them? Or did the diet seperate between good and bad ones?)
i heard about it from my brother who is a bit of a fitness nut. he did it last year and i decided to give it a try after him, and whooo it worked :)
there’s no way to avoid carbs, because you’re right, they’re everywhere. but there are things that have a minimal amount of them. in this diet you replace them with protein and fat so i’m eating stuff like creamy omelets, chicken in cream sauce, meat in cream sauce with veggies on the side, cottage cheese (gross) and tuna and creamy cheese. (yes, there’s cream in everything!)
i’m not having more than 20g of carbs today to get into ketosis fast, but once my body has achieved ketosis, i can have more carbs. but it’s important to keep your daily intake of carbs under 50g or the ketosis will disappear.
